I miss Calvin and Hobbes. One of the first books I remember buying with my saved money was "Scientific Progress Goes 'Boink'"; I can't remember the year, I was in second grade, I think, and there was a book fair and I remember that I saw Hobbes. I saw a tiger that was standing up and could talk. I like cats and big cats more so, and there was a comic book about a tiger that could talk and liked to wait for Calvin to open the door to pounce. One of the things I like about cats is that they do pounce on you, they like to grab at you and scare you. I love it when a cat attacks so how could I resist?

I read the comic book and fell in love with everyone. Every time I'd get those order forms for books that the school gave I'd add more and more books to my Calvin and Hobbes collection. A couple of years later I got my dad into Calvin and Hobbes and he's been loving the strip since. I think it's hard not to like Calvin, Hobbes, Mom, Dad, everyone. I think my dad will always sympathize the most with Ms. Wormwood and her wait for retirement.

I was happily surprised to find Calvin and Hobbes in the Sunday newspaper 'El Comercio', though, it was strange to see them speaking spanish.

March 2006: It's all valid and should work for all browsers. The design has changed a bit since the site was last updated, that was 2004 I think? I've been lazy about things recently.
I've also added a question and answer that Watterson did 2005.You'll find it here
